The aim of the project is to promote transparency in nursing qualifications by creating a European benchmark system to facilitate the transfer of qualifications and skills. It aims at the development of a European competences' referential for nursing that will permit the application of the European Credit Vocational Education (ECVET). The proposed referential includes a profession referential and a practical competencies referential, based on the results of previous pilot projects such as training recommendations for nurses staff, methodological recommendation for the development of a referential, profession referential in nursing sciences etc. The target users will be institutions that offer nursing training as well as hospitals and other health-care establishments.
