"Creative Youth" is an EVS project with four volunteers, involving one hosting organisation (Portugal) and four sending organisations (Poland, Netherlands, Spain and Italy). The venue and all EVS activity will take place in Vila Real de Santo António where during 12 months (from 26/10/2015 to 25/10/2016), four volunteers will be involved in different tasks focused on the empowerment of young people and local community development. Specific tasks to be delivered by the volunteers: - Participating in the coordination and implementation of activities, in articulation with the association's staff or with other volunteers (seminars, workshops, cultural activities and others); - Developing and implementation of their own local activities / projects (workshops, cinema sessions, language tandems, group discussions) with follow up and evaluation; - Supporting other local volunteers in developing their own projects (Youth Initiative Incubator); - Collaborate with local associations in punctual activities (more learning opportunites, more impact, more engagement); - Worskshops and speeches about Erasmus+ and other international opportunities in schools, job centers and relevant stakeholders; - Supporting BACKUP in the communication, marketing and promotion strategy (video; photography; documentaries) - promoting the valorisation of the project and visibility of the Erasmus +; - Supporting in administrative work (if needed), and in our local, national and international projects; - Integrating the youngsters who come to visit us, by introducing them BACKUP and our work (Youth Mobility Center); - Participating in writing and developing of projects applications and fundraising activities; We also offer the opportunity to learn and discover all these topics: developing team work skills; learning about environment, local community and local habits; being supported through intercultural learning process; developing creativity by participating and organizing cultural events; developing critical thinking towards cultural and socio-political events; leading small groups; developing logistical skills; developing skills in multimedia production; improving the skills for workshop leaders; developing competences in the field of youth participation; developing fundraising skills; and sharing their experiences and promoting intercultural exchanges.
