Project »Creative Volunteering« is an EVS project in which includes two organizations, The Youth Center of Trbovlje ( the host) and Via e.V. from Germany ( the sender). The Youth Center of Trbovlje will be the host of a volunteer from Hamburg from 1.2. till 31.7 2015. In this time period the volunteer will be coworking on the program of the youth center in Trbovlje, they will be organizing different activities, events and projects. The main part of the project is also development of the volunteers projects that till leave results in the local and regional community. One of the activities will also be for the volunteer to promote the program of EVS and Erasmus + to the youth and other organizations that can in the future be participants of there programs. Besides the informative part and the activities, we will also take time for evaluation of the project and evaluating it's quality, also acknowledging the outcomes of the project trough the activities given to the volunteer. The purpose of the project »Creative Volunteering«: • To acquire learning, life and work experience for the individual • To acquire intercultural learning for the volunteer and the local youth • To inform and encourage young people from the local community to become active in the local as well as international arena, hosting, and promotion of EVS in various organizations in the region Zasavje • -Bring added value to the regular activities of MCT • Upgrade EVS project implementation. The main objectives of the project which will achieve the purpose of: • Hosting a volunteer in the period from 1.2. until 07.31.2014 • The realization of at least one self tough project of the volunteer EVS • Volunteer will work from 6-8 hours up to 35 hours a week • In the duration of the project the volunteer will developed their own portfolio in order to raise awareness of acquired knowledge, experience and views • After completion of the project the issued of a Youthpass and upgraded volunteer's Europass • Regular communication and project evaluation with the sending organization (at the time of notification of the project, prior to the arrival in the middle of the project and after the completion of activities) • After the project completion there will be a report of the project made with exposed weaknesses and suggestions for improvement. The planned results of the project will be: • EVS project carried out with 1 participant, • organized and carried trough personal project of the volunteer, • Number of media publications (at least 2) • One new candidate for the sending EVS project.
