Creative living project promotes a number of values of the European Union, through the activities in the field of culture and arts. Volunteers in our center have an excellent opportunity to learn to work with young people. Within the work they will get experience in different fields of work, implementing activities in the field of youth work (assistance in the preparation of various workshops for children / young people, to motivate young people to be more active), learn basics of multimedia, learnnew languages - Slovenian, they will improve their English language skills, assist in the organization of events in implementation of various projects, etc. The main activities will be organized according to their competencies, skills and interest of each volunteer, for example, art and theater workshops, assistance in organizing cultural events, festivals, workshops in the field of multimedia, assistance in organizing summer camps, workshops and activities in the field of music and sport, outdoor activities, healthy lifestyles and healthy eating, gardening, etc. We want to work with motivated young people who have a desire to share their knowledge, ideas and experiences with other young people in the local area as well as in a host organization; with young people who wish to learn something new, gain new experiences and skills. Volunteers will be involved in all daily activities of the center, depending on their interests and potentials The aim of this project is to encourage volunteers and local youth to think about the role they play in society and how they can contribute to its improvement. The main objectives of the project are: to encourage young people to increase their engagement in some socially important topics. Through various activities, art, sport and multimedia workshops, we want to increase the participation of young people within the community or within the system of representative democracy and encourage dialogue and active citizenship. One of the goals is to increase the social /active participation of young people with fewer opportunities and increase the possibility of obtaining informal experience, knowledge and skills that lead to the creation of social changes in the local and international environment, to increase the creativity of young people and, consequently, to increase opportunities in the labor market and strengthen the promotion of entrepreneurial ideas. Examples of some of the activities: -The organization and preparation of activities such as: art workshops (art and craft), workshops in the field of sports, music, healthy lifestyle, nonformal education, etc. to involve local youth into activities and thereby increase their interest to actively participate in the local environment, - Assist in the organization of holiday workshops for children, - Organization of intercultural evening to present their culture, country, customs, and with a view to the promotion of EVS in the local environment, - Organizing a language course for children and young people, - Help to implement different projects both at local and international level in the organization ZPTM Brežice - Designing and implementing their own projects throughout the duration EVS - Preparation of promotional material for various events - Promotion of the EVS program between local youth, young unemployed - The completion of the project presentation of the results of the project and disimenation these results The volunteer will get an insight into a number of areas, but they will be encouraged to pursue their own projects and realize their ideas. The aim of the project is personal development of volunteers, the acquisition of competencies that will benefit them later in life. Volunteers will be to operate in our local environment contribute to intercultural dialogue, to increase interest of the local population for foreign cultures, foster understanding and respect for foreign cultures, to increase the motivation of young people for active participation in the local environment, to increase encouragement of young people to participate in international projects and the opportunities offered by Erasmus +, in enriching their personal and career experiences. Volunteers will, as already stated, be actively involved in all areas of work of the youth center, where they will certainly help professional team of ZPTM, while ensuring that the volunteer will not substitute paid labor, but to represent the enrichment and diversification of our projects. Volunteer will be part of the project to promote active participation and active citizenship / social inclusion,will be in contact with local youth and generally with the local population, so there will be exchanges of experience, to the promotion of common European values, the exchange of different cultural backgrounds, between volunteers and local population, they will both learn more about intercultural dialogue, tolerance, European values, on the working methods of nonormal learning.
