Creativity and innovation are crucial aspects of learning and personal development, though they are often overlooked in education due to the cross-disciplinary nature of their scope. To address this problem, creaCIT will deliver narrative driven education modules containing interactive media content, using state of the art web 2.0 technologies within the creaCIT Learning Environment (LE).The creaCIT consortium comprises a wide range of partners with expertise in pedagogic fields and extensive testing experience. Several partners have valuable access to the target audience of 2nd, 3rd and vocational level students to garner fresh insights and gain feedback on development modules.The creaCIT project will provide a means for learning content to be reused in multiple languages and across education sectors. It will enable students to discover the possibilities of creative thinking and innovation, while providing educators with the means to leverage rich interactive learning modules that stimulate personal development and inspire the desire to learn.The creaCIT project will produce:• Pedagogically sound narrative driven learning modules• Professional reusable media content for module delivery• Interactive educational tools integrated within a state of the art web 2.0 learning environmentThese outputs will be achieved via the following Milestones:• M1: Learning Module Design Templates- providing a platform for scalable content delivery in creativity education• M2: Interactive Learning Module Delivery- providing student and teacher with innovative learning content for education• M3: creaCIT LE demonstrator- a full implementation of the learning environment for showcase and dissemination to a wider educational groupThe creaCIT project will add value at European level by aligning directly with key competencies in lifelong learning, the defined strategy for innovation and also strategic objectives in education and training.
