Identification of the innovation potential in companies and research institutions in the bordering area, enhancement of cross-border connections between companies with innovation potential and creating relationships in order to increase knowledge flow, improve cooperation among the economy, research and education institutions in the region. Promotion of joint development ideas, assessment of their innovation potential and preparation of proposals for specific projects. Preparing proposals for measures to enhance growth of innovative companies – a set of recommendations for the public sector oriented towards implementation of activities that will systematically contribute to knowledge transfer from the research into entrepreneurship community in the area included in the project. Improvement of business and technology cooperation between regions in the bordering area and integration of the area in international technology initiatives. Expected Results: Established clear system for quick and simple overview of research potential in the project area (clear web page with overview of innovative potential in the bordering area), companies and institutions analysed with reference to needs in R&D and activities related to technology transfer, new partnerships among institutions active in the field of R&D in the project area established, increased number of cross-border partnerships between economic entities, increased number of joint research projects in the programme area, increased interest of the economic and research community for establishing new business relations, availability of business services and possibilities for financing research projects (national, EU and international funds).
