The COUNSELLING project will develop a range of shared tools for use on a European level, to improve access to quality counselling systems focusing upon education, training, re-qualification and employability. To achieve this objective, the project will define a professional profile for the counsellor outlining the skills required in order to develop the concept of counselling focused upon the user. End project results will comprise an ‘Operative Handbook for Counsellors’ (as a support tool for counsellors) and an ‘Operative Notebook for the Development of Human Resources’. All products will be made available in FR, EN, IT, ES, RO & HU and will be released in electronic (CD-Rom) and printed formats. The primary target group of the project are employers & employees within public and private sector organisations and social partners operating in the field of counselling and human resources management. Potential users of the project results include employees, mangers/owners of SMEs, unemployed persons and young people in transition to work. Dissemination will involve local networking activities, the creation of a dedicated project website and the hosting of seminars, workshops and a final international conference.
