The „Cool European Citizen” project is a trilateral Youth Exchange project within the Erasmus+ framework that will take place in Sabbioneta, Italy. The project aims to bring forward innovation in the personal development of young people, helping them acquire needed life skills as an European citizen with rights and responsibilities. Based on the themes of European Awareness and Art &Culture, the project revolves around three major objectives: - to raise awareness of young people as active European citizens and their social context - to cultivate life skills and positive attitudes through cultural dialogue - to encourage creativity and entrepreneurship initiatives amongst young people In the 7 days of Activity, 30 participants, aged 18 - 25, from 3 countries (Italy, Romania and Sweden) will exchange ideas, modern culture elements and find common grounds of cooperation. The development of the activities is based on non formal education tools and methods in order to guide young people to get to know their Europe, become aware of their opportunities and rights, become active citizens and share personal experience for personal development. During the activity international groups will take part in various types of workshops concerning European citizenship-rights, benefits and responsibilities, cultural expressions of young people’a modern culture (break dance, graphitti, pop culture, design) workshops on creativity and entrepreneurship skills.
