Construction and instrumentation of the road border checkpoint Peschatka (IPBU.02.02.01.66-005/09)

Construction and instrumentation of the road border checkpoint Peschatka will facilitate free movement of people, goods and vehicles across the border, as well as will help to increase the transparency and efficiency of customs procedures. The investment will have positive economic impact for the region and will strengthen the integration process in the border region.Expected results of the project include better capacity (expected capacity: 1130 passenger cars per day, 50 trucks and 20 busses per day, time reduced needed for border passage, simplification of customs formalities (adoption of latest technologies for customs control), better prevention of and fight against organized crime and smuggling. The project include construction of new, main building for state control services, checkpoint pavilions with shelters, pavilions of the dimensional control with shelters, pavilions for vehicles clearance on the channels of the traffic flow, a building for sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary control services with the detailed inspection pavilion and a pavilion for cynological service.
