                         The project "Connections in Action" gather 27 youth workers from 9 countries (Grèce, Estonie, Hongrie, Roumanie, Slovakie, Italie, Espagne, Irlande et France) for a training course whose main aim is to improve the capacity of youth worker to communicate and connect meaningfully with youth and in that way support them in their development processe as active citizens, learner and (future) workers.Topics of the projects: employability and participation of youth in general and YWLO in particular, as well as the relation youth  youth worker as a base for fruitful and quality co-operation.This project follows the principles of non-formal education and its methodology comprises: 1. introspection (analyse, exchanges), 2. experimentation of new methods, 3. their adaptation to the professional realities of each participants.Activities: workshop and group exercices, individual introspection, visits, best practises presentation, participants' led workshop, story-telling, graphic facilitation, informal moments, distance preparation and follow-up.Context and needs addressed: difficulties for organisation to attract young people and work with them sustainably; lack of pro-activity of young as active citizen and (future) workers; for the youth workers demotivation, feeling of powerless that can bring to burn-out. Impact: better attractivity of youth activities, better addressing the needs of the young people, youth workers more confident, effective and satisfied about their work, youth more responsible and actors of their lives.
