The European voluntary project proposed falls within the area of TACC Communication department. However, there are three lines of action where the young volunteer may collaborate. On one side, communication and dissemination usually understood: development of audiovisual materials for the dissemination of the artistic and social activity carried by TACC. Thus, the young volunteer will gain knowledge in video recording and editing, learning about Photoshop or Adobe Premier. On the other side, the voluntary will offer support in the design, planning and implementation of both collective and individual emerging artist’s exhibitions, linked to plastic arts. Due to this fact, she will be in constant contact with the local community, either by the contact with the creators of the artwork of the city or finding exhibition spaces, galleries or rooms where host the works. The third and last line of action is the design of a radio program to be broadcast on the local radio station, BocaRadio. This project will enable the young to learn about all the steps of the implementation of a radio project: from defining the general lines and content, identifying sections and finding collaborators, until acquiring basic notions on production and sound techniques.The young may participate in the actions as she decide, on the basis of her own motivations, capabilities and needs, enhancing this way autonomy and youth empowerment. Since TACC is an association that fosters creativity, we will encourage the volunteer to develop a personal project that drives one or more activities within the field of action she will join in September. In this regard, being in contact directly with the local framework and the Barcelona community will facilitate this task. The volunteer will be a young girl between 18 and 30 years old, with artistic, cultural and communication concerns. This project requires a young with motivation to learn about the workings of a youth and artistic organization, and eager to live an international experience. The project is presented together with the Latvian organisation RED - Radosu Efektu Darbnica with an extensive experience in youth international and youth field.Through this project the young will develop capabilities in terms of personal, social and professional autonomy, she will acquired specific skills in the use of video-editing programs as well as other skills more generally which she would be able to implemented in other situations, such as the steps to materialize an idea into a concrete action. The incorporation and the work of the volunteer will also report a benefit to the local community, energizing the cultural sector through emerging and alternative activities, and cooperating in the dissemination of this materials through the radio program.Finally, this project will also have an impact on the perception of European Voluntary Service as a tool for youth empowerment and, as well as energizing the scenario of emerging plastic arts, thanks to the dissemination and impact actions undertaking by the organization.
