The overall objective of the project is to contribute to environmental sustainability and safety in the border area through organizing joint trainings and exercise in the field of water management, flood protection and prevention. Direct objectives of the project is preparing the inhabitants (teachers, pupils), the employees of the local governments and deployable forces facing similar risks in the border region how to react to events coming about in flood related emergencies, to participate in protection and to keep regulations. Preparation of the DKMT Rescue Team and applying it as a complex rescue unit during exercise is also one of the main objectives.During implementation of the project the following outputs will be provided - planned outputs- training of 30 Hungarian, 30 Serbian teachers- training of 30 Hungarian, 30 Serbian employees of self governments responsible for prevention and defense- organization of team competition for 60 Hungarian, 60 Serbian pupils- organization of youth camp for 18 Hungarian, 18 Serbian pupils- training of DKMT Rescue Team (30 Hungarian, 30 Serbian)- exercise for the DKMT Rescue Team- procurement of equipment needed for implementation, applicable during prevention and defense Achievements: DKMT rescue team has been set up and trained for complex rescue activities. Education of school pupils and preparing teachers for further education.
