After several Leonardo projets, Pierre Andre Chabanne Technical School has certainly demonstrated over the last number of years its commitment to European openness with an Erasmus + Project. The students in business -more precisely the ones having chosen the European option-were having their last workexperience in England. In 2015 and 2016, the students in beauty care benefited from the expertise of the team too. Therefore, they had a three week workexperience in British beauty salons, in Nantwich (Chesthire, UK); that is a total of 15 students over 2 years. Thanks to that workexperience, our students haven't only improved their English but they also acquired new skills, discovered new working methods, gained more autonomy and self-esteem. The objective for our school was to improve its overall image and increase its attractiveness, while meeting our school specifications "LYCEE DES METIERS".(Vocational School) The activities achieved correspond to the ones mentioned in our school curriculum in business and in beauty care :welcome the customers, advice, reception, stocktaking, management, animation/promotion, person's care; respecting the hygiene and safety rules defined by our partners. The results are really satisfying. Indeed, the British tutors are often amazed by our students' qualitative training and quickness. All the assessments -the marks count for their final exam-are excellent. Moreover, the whole group has successfully passed their"mobility test". Beyond the participants' immediate satisfaction, this experience has motivated them to continue their studies( 2 years of Higher Education) . Until now, all the trainees having gone abroad have been accepted onto a BTS (Vocational Training Certificate in Management,Beauty care or Tourism) or DUT (in Marketing Methods).
