Coaching and interpersonal skills for youth workers

The „Coaching and interpersonal skills for youth workers” project is a training, adressing the need for personal an substantive support of youth workers in the european countries. It will be carried out between August 22nd and 27th 2014 in Nasutow near Lublin. The participants of the training are 14 people from seven countries, who are working with youngsters, including children with fewer opportunities an at risk of social exclusion. Training will be lead by 2 experience trainers. Due to their responsibility for another man, the workers are highly motivated to develop their interpersona, methodological and technical competences. The training will rely heavily on the psychological education method. The participants will work with their emotions, experiencing group phenomena and interactions. The scope of theis methodological techniques of working with "difficult" youngsters will be broadened. In the long term, their efficiency will better, resulting in much more effective work in the fields such as addiction prevention or active lifestyle promotion.
