Young Europeans currently face in their lives a lot of difficulties in finding work and adapting to societal change. Some of them also become demotivated and tend to withdraw into themselves. In addition there is in them a tendency to also disengage from society.In this framework, the course addresses the need for efficiency and quality of youth workers supporting young people with very diverse profiles they encounter. The skills involved are: how to support the development of young potential, how to motivate them to participate as citizens, and how to help them enhance their experiences and learning.The main objective of the project is to develop the skills to support youth workers using the methods of coaching in order to support young people deal with change and improve their employability. The youth-coaching methods corresponding perfectly to the needs of unemployed young people.The participants from 8countries (LI, EE, PO, IT, FI, DE, IR, GE) will be mostly youth workers directly involved in the field of youth work: socio-cultural animators , European mobility workers, youth social worker, counselor, youth information, teachers. A smaller proportion (20-25%) will be trainers or project managers.The methodology of this training is based on the principles of non-formal education exchanges and reflection, experiment coaching situations, awareness of learning acquired theoretical and adapting methods to its own reality.Activities: group exercise (play, situational, simulation, etc.), workshops conducted by the participants, visits, good practice presentations, public intercultural evening, analysis and recording of learning in media, theoretical contributions, development new projects and methodologies.Expected results and impact are for youth organisation to be better equipped to deal with various profiles of young people, being able to highlight the learnings which improve their employability, the development of new methodology and accompanying new projects (local or European), develop their capacities to meet the needs of youth, and offer more attractive services. For young people the expected impact and cause them to become autonomous individuals, citizens and recognised assets, skilled workers able to adapt to change.Youth all over Europe face difficulties in finding a job and adapting to the changing world. Some of them also express a demotivation in front of obstacles they meet and a tendency to close on themselves. They are also less involved in citizen participation.In that frame, this training course meet the needs of efficiency and quality for the guidance of the youth they work with. The competences we talk about are: how to support the development of youth potential, how to motivate them to participate, how to help them to recognise their learning experiences.The main aim of the training is to develop guidance competences of youth workers using coaching methods. And this with the aim of supporting youth to face transition periods and increase their employability. Youth coaching fits perfectly to Youth With Fewer Opportunities.
