Nowadays, rapidly evolving and spreading machinery industry is not only the basic industry product of developed countries, but also it is a significant source of employment. That’s why the importance given to machinery and metal industry is increasing day by day. Numerical Control Computer-Based Manufacturing (CNC) is used every manufacturing sector such as automotive, textile, agriculture, machine manufacturing sector and so on. In this situation, the value of people who are working in this field is rising daily. However, in Turkey, vocational schools cannot provide adequate facilities, knowledge and application to our students due to the lack of our resources and budgets. This stuation prevents to rise qualified staff, and find a good job for graduated students. For these reasons, our students should go to abroad as an intern to take full advantage of this 3-weeks intership to meet the needs of our students.
This project will take place with 45 students and 3 teachers who accompany these students. 3-week long internship abroad program includes countries suc as Germany, Holland and Romania in order to take internship training education. Our project’ mobility occurs the form of three different groups and each group contains 15 students and 1 accompaying teacher. Each group will receive vocational training which lasts 4 hours per day for 15 days (totally 60 hours) in a one country. Moreover, they can participate lots of cultural activities. During the internship, kind of CNC programming, CNC machine operator, cad software design with AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D modeling, 2D modeling techniques and applications will be shown.
Our aim of this project is following closely the European standards, increasing qualified of education in our country, the opportunity to learn different cultures, and improving the communication skills of our students by with working people who come from different cultures.
