The project called "CLIL jako nová výzva" was created because of the necessity of involving modern approaches in order to develop language skills in different foreign languages (such as English, German, French, Spanish and Russian) at the primary and lower secondary school. The principal aim of the project is to train primary and lower secondary school teachers in CLIL methodology and modern and creative teaching approaches. There are also partical aims of the project such as inclusion of all students in the future CLIL project (students in ELT classes, students in sports classes, students in mainstream classes, students with specific learning difficulties and students with social exclusion). There are eight teachers involved in the project, five of them in English, one in German, one in Russian and one in Spanish. One member of the staff will take part in job shadowing programme at partners school in Cyprus, with the school we worked on several eTwinning projects. All activities have been developed so that each teacher covered a part of the future project (coordination CLIL , creative methods for primary and lower secondary school , improving language proficiency in English at level B1 and B2 European Framework of Reference for Languages , CLIL methods in German, Russian and Spanish languages). Due to the diversity different language school have been chosen in different parts of Europe and the emphasis was put on the good reputation of the school and courses. All participants have got adequate language skills or they study at language schools. The project consists of eight mobilities, which will result in the creation of the CLIL activities database and concept of CLIL teaching from 1st to 9th grade of primary and lower secondary school. The project is controled by coordinator , who has already expertised in CLIL teaching. The headteacher of the school will also attend one of mobilities. The project will be aimed primarily at teachers and getting professional and language skills , however , the outputs from the project will be applied in practice to the newly created concept of language learning, including involvement of teacher training college students. Through teachers education the school wants to create a long-term sustainable project involving CLIL language teaching at primary and lower secondary school using the " language showers ", " theme lessons " and project days , which will lead students to idea of foreign languages as a natural and integral part of their training .
