Social circus is an innovative tool for the education and social inclusion of children, young people and adults with fewer opportunities.The consortium gathers 8 youth and social circus schools. Six of them have developed a VET offer as part of their activities, and two others are still in the process of developing VET programmes. They are joined by CARAVAN (the European network they have founded together), the Université catholique de Louvain (in charge of the methodology) and 1 associated partner, the University of Paris-Sud 11 (working on the evaluation). At the end of the project, partners established the curriculum and the teacher’s guide for a European training programme for social circus trainers, ready to be implemented and organised at national and European level. This has an impact on the national and European VET systems of this branch and also contributes to the dynamics and the economic growth of the social circus sector all over Europe.
