Partners of the Chôros project intend to foster cultural, theatre, exchanges between cities from the centre and the periphery of Europe, in a view to participate to european integration and reduce territorial imbalance in cultural participation both locally and on a global level. As a priority, the platform would cover 4 different regions where partners are located : Western-Europe (France, Portugal), the Balkans (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Caucasus (Georgia), North-Africa (Morocco), so as to balance the distance with the European theatre sector. Based on the expression of common democratic values, the Chôros project will contribute at producing, creating, exchanging, performing arts creations with a particular European dimension addressing common societal issues (social inclusion and democratic participation, migrations from neighbour and far countries, ageing and co-operation between generations, employment and new relations to work).Activities are artistic, pedagogic and capacity building activities, co-conceived and organised by partners in Porto, Sarajevo, Casablanca, Tbilissi and Lyon : - Workshops at school or for specific groups (transmission/education)- “The Walking Man”, performance in dialogue with the audience.- Public Laboratories, making together- Capacity Building Workshop
