Professor Nanette Neuwahl is a wellknown expert in the field of EU studies, EU constitutional law and external relations. In recognition of achievements during a lifelong career devoted to the development of EU law both in the EU and in Canada, a Jean Monnet chair ad personam is being proposed, which will enable the continuation of EU related teaching and conferencing, bringing together established experts in the field and encouraging young scholars to study aspects of EU law.
