IES Ramón Cid (Benicarló, Spain) is a state school that provides higher education, secondary education and vocational training programmes.Students enrolled in VET programme called CFGM Atención a personas en situación de dependencia are trained as elder and disabled people caregivers.The project CARESKILLS-3 is focused on Italian professional profile OSS (operatore di servizio sociosanitario) and British PA (personal assistent). We consider these profiles bring our programme an added value and some relevant competences, skills and knowledge to acquire.CARESKILLS-3 aims to widen the access to LLP and employment of their participants, improving their chances of labour inclusion. It also aims to improve how the teaching and learning processes are.Main project activities include several placements (for 3 months minimun) to carry out an on-the-job training period as caregivers for a maximum of 20 students and diplomed and several 5 days placements for teachers.That experience and training will be under Europass and other recognition systems.This action will produce as learning outcomes acquiring and improving the required social, personal, professional and linguistic competences, skills and knowledge.Expected main impact of those outcomes are increasing student’s employability and adaptability and increasing their future LLP.
