During our work with young people, we realized that they still find hard to choose a job, and define their main interests. That is why we plan to involve companies to help them by looking into professions in a practical way. We imagine it as a cooperation between education institutes, visits in workshops, and theoretical and practical presentations made by leaders of companies. We also imagine it in an international atmosphere, so they can get information on how the education system and career support looks like in a different country. The project would help young people to choose career, and also motivate them to achieve their goals. As a part of the project we organize a youth exchange in Hungary with Hungarian and Macedonian participants. Before the exchange the youngsters will get on-line packages and duties connected to the topic to prepare themselves for the exchange. It will be available for everyone outside the project, as it will be updated to the website of the organizations. In Hungary, youngsters from both countries can develop their knowledge and skills connected to labour market competences, career choice in a non-formal and practical way. Invited speakers - employers and employees - will talk about professions, jobs, they can even visit workplaces. Into this part we involve local companies who will help the youngsters with their knowledge and experiences. They will also develop their language competences, and make new friendships. After the youth exchange the youngsters keep in touch with each other and prepare a joint booklet in English based on their experiences. This booklet will be free and published on-line.
