The objectives of the EU 2020 Strategy are ambitious against the dropout . The economic crisis and migration in Europe only reinforce the vulnerabilities of youth , endangering the objectives of employability and increasing medical and social implications. The 2009 Eurostat survey on labor force , shows that the whole of Europe is affected, even if the problem affects more the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe . Issues are crucial to the future with over 70 % of young people aged 18 to 25 school leavers , and with even more serious statistics in immigrant populations.
