CALITATE ÎN EDUCAȚIE PRIN UTILIZAREA INSTRUMENTELOR TIC

The project goal is to support modern resources and use of ICT tools for the participants, in oder to increase the digital competences and to raise the quality process for all the school students and also for the students with dropout risk and social disadvantages ( parents working abroad), the students with difficulties in learning, the students with special needs. Consequently , this will be followed by the increasing rate of the graduated students every year and at the final national exams.The aim is the exploitation of the constructivist approaches and of learning centered on the student, through adjusting the lessons using a various number of ICT tools for communication and knowledge construction process. The participants- 12 teachers and staff members - will learn to use the school e-learning platform , which was no properly used, and will learn how to use free educational instruments as well as easy-access software to develop basic techniques by using a wide range of tools such as Wikis, e Portfolio, Google Apps, Podcasting, Movie Making, Web 2.0, Social Networking, Blogging, etc. These tools will support and enhance teaching and learning through interdisciplinary inquiry and the use of digital teaching resources. The specific objectives of the projects are:1. to provide teachers with practical ideas about how they can incorporate ICT resources and tools into their lessons in the classroom, but also in the school library, in the school administration2. to familiarize teachers and staff with current Internet e-learning trends (moodle , Dolibarr ) and how they can accelerate the use of this platforms3. to provide teachers with resources and various tools with which they can augment their e-learning content4. to integrate ICT competences into the didactic ones, the follow up being the increase of the educational process quality and also didactic and methodological innovation5. to create connection between different didactic subjects through use of ICT resources available for integrated learning, but also connection inside the school departments and between different school departments6. to develop specific competences that will allow the effective exploitation of the facilities offered by the integrated technological systems used in education by teachers abd non-didactic staff also ( for example S.I.I.I.R. ) The course will be structured in 8 modules:Trends in ICT in education, situation in different European countriesMethodology of use of ICT in the classroomPlagiarimsSafety issues (health/ cyber bullying/ cyber stalking)Weebly/WebQuestsFinding resources for lessonsEfficient presentationsICT in different subjectsOutcomes and competences ( on medium and long terms ):Enhancement of Information and Communication Technologies uptake in teaching and learning, through the support of training and access to open educational resources (OER) in the education and training fieldsImprovement of language skills (the course is held in English)Improvement of the education quality through innovative use of ICT ( every participant will fill in a personal Report on his/her personal improvement of digital competences after the course, and in the next two years Report on the implementation of these resources, cu evidences about the implementation. These documents are included in the compulsory Self-evaluation Reports every end of the year, for the school staff permanent evaluation Internationalization at the level of educationImprovement of the abilities to use student-centered pedagogical approaches and to develop transparent appropriate evaluation ( using the platform)-on medium and long terms Development of the students ’ critical thinking , through use of ICT tools- on a medium termDevelopment of differentially teaching and of the remedial learning programs for disadvantages students, for the students with special needs or for the students with learning difficulties- on a medium term On a long term, the students’ interactive activities, the modern teaching methodology, the increasing efficiency of the communication between the school departments, between the school and the community will be fully integrated in the School Plans and documents, through specific procedures,compulsory for Job description of the teachers and staff. On a long term, this project will support the improvement of the a good rate at the students national exams ( in the last year, the national exam rates were 60%) and it will assure the quality of the educational process.
