The C.O.S.A. project will develop tools and methodologies to support enhanced knowledge management within SMEs. Project partners will develop, validate and introduce a self-analysis model, related to the improvement of competitiveness and the use of internal knowledge (formal and non-formal) within SMEs. Beyond this, learning, training and organisational behaviour models will be developed in relation to the distribution of internal knowledge, to be supported by a series of distance tutoring tools. All project results will be made available in electronic (CD-Rom) and printed format. Primary project beneficiaries are Human Resources personnel within SMEs. Dissemination will take rely upon networking within each participating country and will further involve the regular publication of a project newsletter, the development of a dedicated project website and the hositng of a final international conference.
