Today's Europe is struggling with several difficulties, one of them youth unemployment and lack of entrepreneurship among youngsters. Encouraging entrepreneurship and willingness to take action in that field is addressable via intercultural non-formal learning process such as youth exchange. The main topic of the project is entrepreneurship supported by topics of innovation, leadership, teamwork and management. The main objectives of the project are encouraging young participants to see the shortcomings in their communities and guiding them to take action and make changes through entrepreneurship. Through that they can increase their employability, enhance creativity and innovation capabilities. The youth exchange will take place in Pärnumaa 17.-23.07. 2017. There will be 24 participants (excluding group leaders) 6 from each of the four project countries (Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia) aged 18-26. The participants will be selected based on their motivation and relation to entrepreneurship by each of the partner organizations. During the youth exchange several different non-formal learning methods such as workshops, simulation exercises, team-works, presentations, games, visits and feedback/evaluation sessions are being used. All of the activities will contribute to developing entrepreneurship skills among the participants. Some examples of the activities are: meeting with local entrepreneurs, “Level 10 life” plan-making simulation exercise, Creativity workshop “How to use a cabbage in 1000 different ways?”,“Making promotional campaign A-Z” simulation exercise, Playing Cashflow board game. All of the activities are guided by one of the partner organizations but based on interdependent learning from each other in the multicultural environment. During the youth exchange the participants will have simulation exercises to create and develop in teams an entrepreneurial idea. From the experience they will gather personal benefits. After the youth exchange they have possibilities for further guidance and mentoring from the host organization and can try to implement their idea in local communities. Also the participants will agree upon follow-up activities that they will carry out to achieve long-lasting benefits. That will bring the benefits in organizational, local and international levels. The communities will advantage from active and enterprising youth with the knowledge and willingness to make a change.
