“Building the House of Europe–beyond borders!”, the motto of this project, is meant to both focus on traditions and on expectations of young people towards EU as well as investigating changes due to membership or accession process. It prepared plans and ideas about the European House as a building. This building first will function as a model that will symbolise variety in unity from the point of view of young people. It shows the European dimension in the meaning of feeling home. Our wooden model can be used by schools for decorating it according to the school´s partnerships.as we have produced it using CAD we can respond to a large number of requests. We had a great final presentation of our house. Via internet all students of alle partnerschools could be involved and even our Indian partner enjoyed watching it. During our last meeting we did an excursion to European Parliament where we presented our model and our views on European House /our European Union. Second we hope that our EUropean House will be built as real house where young people from all over Europe can meet and learn from each other. "This is Europe! We are the people." We also created a model for the house being organized and kept by students.Apart from the common products there are individual ones like a European House dress or European House song or videos on typical meals and videos/ppt promoting the country/region/the school. You can find our productsonwww.hellenstein-gymnasium.deoron www.etwinning.netThere are some public videos taken from some of our dissemination activities onyoutubehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yJ8MRQe1Wc&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkfF_vLB5v4&feature=relmfuYou can register and become "Friend of the European House" onwww.european-house.eu
