Bürgerjournalismus und digitaler Mediendialog für gesellschaftliche Teilhabe
Start date: Oct 1, 2016, End date: Mar 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Ukrainian society is in a continuous process of democratization and dialogue with the western European neighbors. Within the project, 28 young people, youth workers and young journalists come together for a training course in November 2016 in Kiev to acquire journalistic, digital and trainer skills. The cooperation in the youth field should be strengthened as well as media pluralism and the active civil society in Ukraine and Belarus. The partners are working on site together with educational institutions and NGOs, which are working towards the establishment of democratic structures and the strengthening of civil society. The project will help to create permanent structures for cooperation between civil society actors in the youth-, education- and media sector from Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. The training course "citizen journalism and digital media dialogue for social participation" will give young people an economic and social perspective, enable them to better participate in building an open, inclusive, democratic and pluralistic society in their home countries.
