This project aims to continue a long tradition of our school in European programmes, above all, in Erasmus + Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training for work placements. We have already had collaborations with all partners and the experience has been once more very positive.
Our project has consisted of carrying out a 11-week mobility in companies in Germany, Malta and Finland. This period corresponds to the module of On the Job Training within the student´s study programme for the following initial vocational students:

-To get to know the structure and organization of the foreign companies in those countries.
-To get to know the ethic and work habits in those companies.
-To increase the intercultural dialogue and the acquisition of language abilities in German and in English.
-To promote the employability of Spanish students in the companies of Lower Saxony (Germany) and Malta where students who finished their internships got a job thanks to the demand of skilled workforce in these countries.
-To extend these employability prospects to countries like Finland.

The sending Organization selected the participants and the partner schools selected the companies, then collaboration and training agreements were elaborated and discussed with all parties previously to mobility. they have had a mentor who gave them an induction ,supported them and evaluated them at the end. This period corresponded to the on-the-job learning period within their study programme.
There has been an evaluation of the staff mobility and the project itself.
The mobilities have been organised together by the sending and host institutions: travel arrangements, accommodation, integration in the country, presentation at enterprises and follow-up.
There have been follow-up visits to the students in their companies making them coincide with the staff mobilities.
The mobility of students has taken place in two different periods : October 2015 - December 2015 and March 2016 to June 2016.
German Language preparation has taken place in our school thanks to collaboration with the University of Osnabrück and Duisberg-Essen so that they are sending students of Spanish philology to do their Erasmus mobility in our school, which has an Extended EUC, to teach German to our students.
The Department of Foreign languages of our school has been in charge of the English language preparation.
The achieved results are, among others, that participants got to know the training system of the partner countries , methods of production, labour standards , work and safety regulations , machinery and technologies used in those countries, as well as the customs and traditions of the country and their way of living and habits.
The students have passed their on the job training module and qualified as Technicians in Vocational Education.
Our aim is that the impact of the Project is not just on the participants but passed on to other students, teachers and educational community.
Finally, we established professional and social relationships during mobility to facilitate employment not only of the students on their on-the-job training period but also of other students who have already got their certificates because those countries are demanding skilled labour,
