Gender equality is an important topic, which affects and concerns everyone in the world, so, of course, the European Union pays special attention to the issue and we can find it among the priorities of the Erasmus Plus Program. The project's aim to raise awareness in young people to the importance of the problem, because we believe that we can achieve such changes in younger generation's attitude that makes long-term gender equality possible. Our goal to make young people pay attention to the importance of gender equality, break their stereotypes, strenghten each other's acceptance and understanding. During the program we want to bring the members of the two genders closer to each other with deeper knowing and empathy in each other's roles. The topic will be processed with non-formal learning methods, based on the main theme we will examine gender roles, family life, workplace situations, values communicated by media and culture, we want the participants break stereotypes and experience each other's roles by situation games and creative workshops. In our youth exchange young people from 4 countries (Hungary, Romania, Poland, Spain) will participate (5 participants and a group leader per country, 24 people in all). The nine days program will be in Tarpa, in the summer of 2016.
