To promote and contribute to the construction and co-ordination of all cross-border projects between different organisations interested in the development of economic and social activity of Shepway and Boulogne-sur-Mer. The Municipality of Boulogne-sur-Mer and Shepway District have set up an association (under French Law) under the alternating presidency of the Mayor of Boulogne-sur-Mer and the Leader of Shepway District Council. The aim of this association is to develop and co-ordinate all acts of co-operation between the two partners. It is a logical continuation of the fruitful partnership developed in the context of Interreg 2 a large number of investment and exchange projects.
