Through thisthey can get a better possible return to their country, a similar experience (if they are looking to find a creative work) and, hopefully, a motivation to develop local initiatives and participate in their local communities more actively. To achieve this, volunteers were empowered and supported to organize a self-made bicycle workshop for local youngsters, whilelearning how to work together, prioritize and how to best collaborate with each other and with several cultural organizations, local municipality and media. Participants worked to provide high visibility to the event. The visible results of the project were: established Do It Yourself bicycle workshop, Freak Bike Parade in Liepaja on May, 16,2015, development of an A2 stylized bicycle poster that serves as a tool to promote and describe EVS in youngster-friendly wayand a short documentary. We believe that after the project the volunteers are feeling empowered and ready to develop similar initiatives in their homecountries (and organizations they work for) thus increasing overall impact of the project.
