The Secondary School for Vocational Training Aïzpurdi is situated in Hendaye. It trains pupils in the professional fields of aesthetics, cosmetics, perfumery, and hairstyle. Our project of mobility is generalized to all the sections within the framework of internships in companies, according to the curriculum. Generally, an internship lasts 4 weeks.Specific objectives are aimed at:• Improve the students’ professional, linguistic skills and make them acknowledged.• Increase the job opportunities.• Enable a better knowledge of the intercultural dimension.• Develop a social asset and autonomy to favour the students’ participation to the democratic life in Europe.• Improve the teaching quality through the exchange of professional practices within the framework of a transnational cooperation.• Create an international partnership.Target audience:The pupils of CAP (Equivalent of Vocational Training Qualification), of MC (An additional vocational diploma, specialization which is taken after the CAP) and of BAC (Equivalent of school-leaving certificate) are from 16 to 20 years old. Either they are registered in European section or attend a specific class for the mobility within the framework of:- A “PPCP” (A pluridisciplinary programme combining several subjects – general or vocational ones).- An “AP” (A personalized extra teaching and training course).Selection:It is organized through interviews. The candidate is asked to express his / her motivations. The language level is not a decisive factor; what is at stake is the candidate’s dynamism, the will to participate, to get deeply involved and personally committed in this training.Impact on the pupils: It will reconcile the pupils from secondary school for vocational training with the teaching so that they get trained; obtain a diploma acknowledged on a European level, increase the level of their skills and qualifications by carrying on their studies towards higher education or undertaking a post-baccalaureate mobility. In the medium term, it will develop their taste to learn, to share, to pass on, their desire to enrich themselves with multiple experiences, to become more open-minded, to build-up self-confidence, which will allow them to undertake things and to be citizens of the society which will be theirs and which they will help to develop.
