BETWEEN ALPHA AND OMEGA

"Between the alpha and omega" is a youth exchange that explores the parallel environmental situations in the partner countries and aims to activate young people from four member states of the EU (Romania, Lithuania, England and Bulgaria) to participate in volunteer initiatives with their peers in the Rhodope Mountains near Plovdiv. With the help of our partners will contribute to the dissemination and development of the principles of volunteerism and the active involvement of young people in activities related to ecology, environmental protection and tourism. Participants will work on topics related with the Volunteering opportunities provided for the promotion of activities aimed on improving the conditions and quality of life of young people and their families from the region of village of Belashtitsa and Plovdiv. It is envisaged that they will participate in practical activities by marking ecotourism route to the area "century-old sycamore trees" to Belashtitsa village. The implementation of this exchange will enable young people to understand the nature and importance of their involvement in the improvement of environment and tourism opportunities that a remote village offers at the same time will develop ideas for implementing their own initiatives. Alpha Association has experience in the developing of program activities, which further ensure successful implementation. In pursuance of the principles of "Erasmus +" we will use the methods of informal learning (discussions, role playing, debates, group work, team building, meetings with experts and young people and many others). We will rely a lot of outdoor activities and cultural exchange.Period: 20 to 27 October 2016Venue:.
