The "Better Future in a Better World" addresses a total number of 64 students from CTGB Baia Mare, technical profile, the Electronics and Automation domains , with the following qualifications: Computer Operator Technician, Telecommunications Technician, Electronics Technician, Automation Technician, qualification level 4. It aims at preparing future technological high school graduates with real employment opportunities in the international labour market and personal fulfilment, with competent international experience and certified "ingredients" increasingly sought by employers. Recent studies show that ,lately, 30% of employers consider international experience a basic requirement for choosing employees, and 85% of participants in learning mobility across the border have improved their chances of employment. In these circumstances, attending practical training internships with modules from the national curriculum in relevant institutions from Poland and Portugal, Centrum Kształcenia Praktycznego - Poland and CINEL - Portugal, represents the best chance for "a better future into a better world "for these young European students.The project objectives are:Ob.1. To train and develop the specialized technical skills in accordance with the appropriate professional training standards according to the level of qualification, evaluated in a different educational system, transferred abroad and included in qualification by ECVET.Ob2. To improve the key competences, communication in a foreign language, interpersonal relationship management, critical thinking and problem solving, as a consequence of work experience in another country, in order to prepare students for life.Ob.3. To improve Colegiul Tehnic “George Baritiu” ability to form national and international partnerships which will develop the students’ professional career and life. The project will be developed over a period of 13 months during which there will be 4 flows of 16 students each. - Flow 1 during 09.01-27.01.2017 (3 weeks - 90 hours 6 hours / day), module IX - Electronic circuits for Electronics Technician Qualifications, Computer Operator Technician, Telecommunication Technician, Automation technician -Flow 2 during 13.02-03.03.2017 (3 weeks - 90 hours 6 hours / day), module IX - Transmission media and MVIII – Fault detection, Telecommunication Technician qualification -Flow 3 during 20.03-07.04.2017 (3 weeks - 90 hours, 6 hours / day) Module VIII - Maintenance of computer systems and computer networks and MVIIA-Fault detection, Computer Operator Technician qualification.- Flow 4 in the period 01.05-19.05.2017 (3 weeks - 90 hours 6 hours / day), module IX - Electronic circuits, Electronics Technician qualifications , Computer Operator Technician Operator, Telecommunications technician, Automation technicianMentoring and guidance will be made by internship trainers from the 2 host organizations and the monitoring by the 6 accompanying teachers from CTGB.RI acquired by the students, positively assessed by internship trainers and professional training managers from the training centres CKP or CINEL - accredited institutions in the assessment of skills and authorized for issuing the certificates according to the Polish and Portuguese systems – monitored by the Romanian accompanying teachers will be validated by Europass certificates and, upon completion of the mobility, they will be transferred through ECVET in Romania and recognized by CTGB where students are registered, in order to be included in the qualification at the completion of secondary education. Regarding the language skills acquired during the language preparation before the training stage, but also using foreign languages during the traineeship (language of communication in the project is English), we estimate that 60% of participants will have a linguistic level minimum A2, and about 40% minimum B1. Participants will get Europass language certificates, , and besides all these results, we believe that everyone involved will appreciate positively the learning opportunities, both on personal and professional level.The project's impact will be visible both for the participants and for the school and community. Besides certificates obtained (Europass language certificate), the validation of credits and grades, motivation for medium and long term learning, students will become aware of EU membership and alignment with European standards in order to become integrated people, will pass the professional certification exam and will increase the number of graduates employed on the labor market after graduation.At the institutional level the project will bring new international contacts, partnerships, developing the European dimension within the institution, increasing visibility by disseminating the results.
