Our territory (Gers) is strongly marked by its rural character with all the specifics that entails. We see it every day, information and support work is very important especially in terms of raising awareness about Europe that some people can feel rather distant. The IMAJ Association is born from the desire of the municipality of Auch to created in the heart of the city a structure to facilitate the meeting, expression of youth, while promoting their initiatives. To do so, it has three tools: a concert hall, a Youth Information Office and Digital Public Space. In this context of youth information, the association is labeled Europe Direct Information Center since 2013. Its main objectives in which the EVS project take place : a) Information: free documentation, newsletters, websites, social networks ... b) Animation: participation in events, organizing panel discussions and information days, interventions in schools, youth center... c) Council: follow the calls for proposals, advice for setting up projects and search for transnational partners. The IMAJ association is looking for a volunteer from September 2015 to June 2016, in Auch to participate in all activities of the association in general and in particular, a mission of information on European issues, in connection with the permanent team. By his own experience of mobility, it will embody the project values during interventions, testimonies, exhibitions ... Every day, the schedule includes a number of tasks: communication via ICT, meetings with partners, public reception ... For all this, the volunteer must be polyvalent and show some sensitivity to European citizenship. Through this EVS project, and emulation it causes - a fun example of mobility - we hope to leverage the impact of the European information to the public, employees of the structure and partners, our users... For the volunteer, his skills will be valued by Youthpass tools. There has been little experience with EVS in Auch and Gers. We'd love the fact it serve as an example and generate ideas for others structures and people in the department.
