To encourage the co-operation in sports between Valka (Latvia), Valga (Estonia) and Novodevyatkino (Russia) municipal volleyball, football and floorball teams. To organize international sports competitions in volleyball, floorball and football in Valga, Valka and Novoe Devyatkino;To improve floorball, volleyball and football resource basis by acquiring sports equipment and uniforms;To organize training of floorball in Novoe Devyatkino by drawing in experts from Latvia and Estonia;Acquisition and distribution of good practice (kick-off and final conferences, brochures, press releases in newspapers and web pages). Achievements: Outputs6 International competitions in football, floorball and volleyball organised in Novoe Devyatkino (Leningrad Region), Valga (Estonia) and Valka (Latvia); 500 T-shirts, 150 medals and 9 trophies awarded to winners and participants of the sport competitions; Equipment for playing floorball, football and volleyball provided to partner sport organisations procured: 3 floorball rinks (40m x 20m), 8 goals, 49 uniforms, 4 goalkeeper equipment, 120 sticks, 2681 balls and 17 bags 6 football goals and nets, 5 training equipment kits, 62 uniforms and boots, 180 balls 15 volleyball nets and posts for 6 courts, 2 volleyball kits, gymnastic mat, 50 uniforms, 90 balls; 1 training seminar, 2 conferences and social events arranged; 1200 brochures and 8 articles in local newspapers and municipality home pages published, radio and TV interviews for 35 000 inhabitantsResultsInternational network involving 3 municipalities, 3 sport centres and 6 sport clubs developed; Sport equipment available at schools/ sport centres depending where children are training; 167 young sportsmen equipped with uniforms for future games and equipment for playing; Healthy and active lifestyle promoted for local youth; Concept and actions developing movement “Men to move” presented to wider audience; Municipality partnership widely promoted due to close cross-border cooperation and joint events; Promotional materials about sport competitions and joint activities widely available for local and regional audience
