This EVS projects purpose is to empower and educate volunteers in gaining project management skills and leadership skills by aiding the existing actions of I.D.E.A. plus implementing their own actions with the help of I.D.E.A. Furthermore we aim to give the opportunity to the young people to be involved in social and democratic life and simultaneously to enhance their sense of active citizenship and inter cultural awareness. We will provide to the volunteers new knowledge regarding the innovative methods that our organization operated with the aim to share these best practices with their sending organizations. The project aims to have a great impact to both the volunteers and the local community. The volunteers will gain experience that may later on use in their personal and professional lives and the local community will be benefited by the endeavors of the actual volunteers. Finally this project will promote values such as youth expression, youth learning development, sustainable development, democratic values and European awareness in order to best assure the long term and wide spread impact of our endeavors. The duration of the whole project is 12 months. During this time we will prepare for the project plus evaluate our volunteers and ourselves for our achievements. The project will involve 4 organizations which consist of the Greek Hosting organization plus 3 sending organizations from Serbia, Poland and Romania. The volunteers will be hosted in Athens, Greece for 9 months from the 5st of October 2015 until the 04 of July 2016.The volunteers participating in this project will have a chance apart from broadening their general experiences to also learn the Greek way of life and philosophy.
