Project consortium coordinator is our school Edirne Uzunköprü Technical and Vocational High School for Girls, and consortium member schools are Edirne Keşan Technical and Vocational High School for Girls and Tekirdağ Malkara Technical and Vocational High School for Girls. Our Project is for 11th and 12th grade students who has been studying in Ready Made Clothing-Model Mechanic Training field. Textile sector has an important place in the economical structure of the geographical site we live. 34% of industrial enterprises in Trakya Region has been operating in textile and confection fields. For that reason, there is an intense need for well-trained qualified workers in textile sector . However, our students have difficulty in improving their professional skills because small enterprises providing service in textile where the students perform their internships. It is an undeniable fact that our participants shall be employed under much better conditions through professional and social values that skills training they will take in more developed and well-equipped enterprises in Europe provide them and technological improvements in Europe shall adapt to the enterprises in our region. This is one of the basic reasons which sets forth the need for having our students take skills training in well-equipped enterprises in Europe. Our project emerged with the idea of learning and putting the techniques changing and improving based on technology in Model Mechanic Training field in textile sector into practice on site, practicing the gains in our education institutions and textile sector in our region and modernizing existing techniques. By the help of this project, our students shall perform activities including theory and practice, be encouraged to gain experience especially through work-related training , learn the latest techniques and disciplines about Model Mechanic Training enterprises in Europe has. Although the girls (students), who might have job opportunities under better conditions such as career, salary and social rights, are raised in a small district, and in restricted economical and social situation, they will get into a positive changing process thanks to the project. In addition, our students shall perform their internships in enterprises which have international standards and have a manpower with foreign language at an adequate level and expertised in their professions, and also gain experience in means of human relations to an EU extent. The enhancement of workers’ qualifications shall contribute to the increase in income level in our region and in life quality. On the other hand, partners participating in the project shall increase their capability to cooperate institutionally and have the capacity and experience to conduct international projects. Increasing the chances of our participant female students’ employment shall be a step, though it is small, in means of adjusting the equality of men and women in society and they will be helped to stand on their own feet. Our project has such effects as enhancing professional and personal qualification and self-confidence, founding the consciousness of Europeanism, improving institutional capacities of our schools, transferring innovative applications in our schools and enterprises, establishing sustainable partnerships on the sector, institutions and participants. Long-term gains expected from the project are to contribute to meeting the need for qualified Model Mechanic wanted in our region and country, to establish sustainable new partnerships nationally and internationally, to increase the cooperation between textile sector and school and to increase the quality of Vocational education. Preparation studies shall be carried out by using Introduction, Recitation and Presentation methods in professional, cultural and language preparatory activities. In internship studies abroad, Recitation, Indication then Practicing, and Application methods shall be used. In activities to Spread , target groups shall be informed by using Introduction, Recitation and Presentation methods. In conducting our project, a management team shall be established and Management method shall be applied and all studies and activities shall be organized by this team. Our project that we would like to execute in accordance with this expectation, aim and outcome mentioned above shall be composed of 4 flows and 36 participants, one of whom is handicapped, in total shall take place in our project. Flows which will last for 2 weeks are going to be realized to SC CONFSTAR SA in Romania between 28 March and 11 April 2015, to Gisi's Nähatelier in Germany, to Sidónios Intimo in Portugal and to Cac Têxtil companies in Portugal. 9 participants shall take place in each flow. 2 companions shall accompany in the flow the handicapped student shall take place and one companion shall accompany in each flow, which means 5 companions in total.
