Austausch Auszubildender zweier Berufsschulen in Gien (Frankreich) und Offenbach am Main (Deutschland)

Each year 4-5 German students in the fields of electronic engineering and IT , of the vocational school 'August -Bebel- School Offenbach' get the opportunity to go to Gien (France) for three weeks, to do a placement in a matching company (September). In return, 4-5 French vocational students of the LP ( Lycée professionnel ) Marguerite Audoux in Gien have the opportunity to do a three-week internship in a German company in the Rhine - Main area (January). The aim of the work experience abroad is an expansion of technical and vocational skills, enhancing professional opportunities and an increased intercultural education of our vocational students. A long-term goal at local and regional level is to reach a greater opening of the enterprises and companies for international mobility projects for their trainees. Through visits of trainees on site, by detailed learning agreements and internship reports, as well as evaluation meetings after the time spent abroad, the quality and sustainability of the project is ensured.
