The project focuses on the technique of papier-mâché ( better known to paper mold) , as a form of creative art and aims to promote the territory and exploit its traditions , in an exchange of ideas and best practices with other Nations, with the aim of creating social inclusion and employment.The partners selected for the implementation of this project are engaged in the arts and crafts and tends to offer young people selected a new job opportunity.The technique of papier mache , in a society that is increasingly directed towards computerization , enhances creativity favoring manual operation and , in particular , the use and recovery of material "disposable ".In the tradition of our country the papier-mâché is used mainly for the construction of floats , dance or theater that parade through the city streets on Shrove Tuesday ( the so-called Carnival ). It allows merging multiple topics , from conception of the subjects to the supporting structure , the modeling clay to plaster molding , from paper to color.This craft technique , however, can also be applied in other areas such as set design, museum design , furniture and objects , allowing creativity through training and real opportunities for employment of people experiencing social disadvantage .The project will take place in Agropoli (SA), in southern Italy, from 31/01/2016 to 09/02/2016, in the period of preparation and implementation of the event called "The Carnival of Agropoli", now in its forty-fifth edition, and will last total duration 10 days (including travel days).Take part in the project no. 30 young people from 20 to 29 years engaged in the arts and craftsman (no. 5 young for each partner and no. 1 Leader for each parner).In particular, during the week stay young people will be involved in workshops of paper, preparation of sketches, carrying a concealed through the use of recycled material, meetings of cultural exchange linked to the carnival traditions of the other participating European countries.Peer education, along with the systemic relational model is the predominant design methodology as the participants will be called to know and test their internal resources from both an individual and collective dialogue in all activities proposed to them.It is hoped to achieve objectives related to self - empowerment interpersonal skills and individual and the development of new art forms that tend to promote the area and the labor insertion.Our goal is to create an ongoing dialogue, this will be achieved through the creation of a multimedia platform for discussion and learning. (LIFELONG LEARNING).The realization of the project will mainly benefit the European integration in multicultural dialogue and exchange of best practices.
