This program will be implemented in the capital of Russia, Moscow, from 22.06.2017 to 06.29.2017 with the support of the Embassy of Cyprus in Moscow and in cooperation with the Greek Cultural Center. The program will involve young people from various areas of Cyprus, young people with or without special needs, as well as youth from remote rural areas and those with fewer opportunities. The aim of the program is the acquisition of basic skills that will improve the social and educational level of these young people and will help to upgrade their living standards. The key elements of the project include intercultural interaction, the development of material cultural achievements (dances, songs, legends, folk tales, eating habits), the development of good practices, the strengthening of the international dialogue on key issues such as war, refugees, youth, sports, volunteering, education and lifelong learning. All activities are based on exploratory and differentiated approach and promote the development of team cooperation. Based on the fundamental notions and aspirations of Erasmus + programs, this project reinforces the principles of inclusivity, equality before the law as well as gender and race equality. It cultivates the dialogue, supports democracy and promotes human rights. The results are based both on formal learning through certification of metacognitive skills via evaluation sheets and systematic work, and informal learning through the development of social skills, moral and social principles and enhancement of confidence to reach the full potential of one’s personality. We hope that especially this program will make us proud about all the youth projects that we have implemented so far, both for its activities and the positive effects that its participants and target groups will experience. Finally, the main priority is to expand these actions in countries outside Europe and transatlantic countries with the help of Erasmus +.
