The background of this how you can express arts in alternative ways and at the same time prevent all kind of discrimination. The participant amount from each country is eight youngsters age of 13 to 20 years old. Total number of the participators is 36. The participant organizations are NGOs or City provided youth services. The planned dates for the youth exchange are from 22nd of February to 2nd of March. The venues are City of Vantaa's camping site in Heinola and suburb of Hakunila in Vantaa in a way the youth exchange would take place in Heinola for five days and in Vantaa for two days. The youth exchange includes a half day trip to Helsinki. The countries involved in the activities are Croatia, Finland and Lithuania. The main elements of the activities are to use different kind of arts as tools against discrimination. The questions and actions against discriminations will be shown on the activity tasks. The main activities are painting with alternative ways by not using brushes; to make ecological instruments from recycled materials and use the participants as the main instruments of making rhythms and sounds to the point it actually sounds like music; to use snow as a tool to create art (snow sculpturing); dancing; making own song; different kind of theatre activities such as practicing improvisation, process drama and body theatre and short film making. Leaders will be working togehter to make sure the goals are achieved. Key point is to use art as a tool to encourage young people to express their selves and talk about discrimination. By working as a group the participants will learn from each others and the cultural background of each participant countries and develop their social skills as well as challenge themselves to cooperate in a foreign language (English). The expected impact on the participants, participating organizations and target groups are the expending of the world view, gaining experience of internationalism, cultural awareness, better familiarization with the national agency and mobility opportunities, gaining tolerance, improving group works, language and communication skills, bringing the opportunities of internationalism more close to young people, being in a role of an active actor which may work as a support to take part in other local activities, braveness, responsibility, improving survival skills when being a way from home in a new environment, gaining self confidence and self expression, getting to know more about arts and emotional growth. Youthpass is used for every day evaluation and digital recording will be the way to document our activities during the youth exchange.
