The 'ANTRA' project will develop an on-line assessment tool to identify ICT training needs for SMEs in the service sector. It also aims to increase awareness of ICT potential in business development with a view to increasing future competitiveness. Being able to identify these needs is crucial for SMEs with limited resources and scarce ICT competencies. A dynamic web site will assist the SMEs in analysing their needs (both hardware and software for e-business solutions), analysing the competence of staff and areas for further development in the enterprise chain. Upon completion of the analysis, this tool will identify staff's existing qualifications and further training needs. The main targets are companies in low or medium tech industry, such as the service sector. Each project partner will develop a national pamphlet with a presentation of the product. These materials will be distributed through the partner's network, and through business associations and training suppliers.
