PROJECT
FINISHED
Skibet Skole prioritizes that each student should be as good as he / she can. The goal is that students learn to collaborate with others in different contexts, including that they can collaborate with other pupils from schools in Europe. Students must achieve intercultural knowledge of other countries in Europe. They must learn to cope in an international, complex and changing world.
Through previous collaborations with leaders, teachers and pupils from schools in Europe, among others with mutual visits, it is the management's experience that these particular cooperation with foreign schools contributes to the development of the school and that the school's goals for students are getting reached.
The teachers are all highly skilled and competent teachers with strong pedagogical and didactic knowledge.
Through these projects, it is also clear that there is a need for skills development for school leaders and teachers - especially on linguistic skills and increased extension of international cooperation with other schools.
It is therefore of utmost priority that a part of the school's training of leaders and teachers will take place in an international environment with leaders and teachers from several European countries.
The topics will be the development of teaching methods, language skills, the European dimension, inclusion and innovation and entrepreneurship.
Each mobility project shall provide increased professional knowledge, understanding and vocabulary specific to the individual topics / subjects to the managers and teachers.
Taking part in the courses with leaders and teachers from several countries in Europe will bring the European dimension into the subjects so that students get the full benefit of the training of the managers and teachers.
This will be done through the subsequent cooperation with foreign schools, for example through online class collaboration with eTwinning / TwinSpace. As well as the individual teachers' own further focus on the subject.
It will be a requirement from the management that teachers as part of the courses must find European teachers that they want to establish a longer sustained cooperation with.
