Ancient pathos is a project that promotes a deep dive into the ocean of the European ancient,medieval & contemporary tragedy,trying to involve as many volunteers as possible in the procedure in order to revive the voluntarism as it used to be in the past. Through the actively participation, people obtain the sentiment of fluffiness and understanding in a higher degree. The volunteers,under the management of teachers who teach theatrical playing,directing,costume design,script writing etc. will produce an integrated play working in different multidisciplinary teams consisted with people from different countries with different backgrounds and level of experience. Through the actively participation of people the European citizen status is strengthened.In this respect, the project explores the secret, dangerous and charming paths of pathos (passion), on the basis of Ancient Greek Tragedy,Spanish and Italian literature & tragedy and Danish &generally Scandinavian mythology.The collaboration will lead in an integrated theatrical play through the synthesis of the ancient tragedies and myths which constitute a great heritage for each one of the countries but have one or more common elements in their story.The European mythology has common roots and in a lot of cases it has given the same results.There are many common things between the Greek and Roman tragedy(for example Euripides’s & Seneca’s Media)as well as the Greek and Scandinavian(Achilles & Zigfried is the "same" person).In this framework,performances will be staged and programs will be planned and issued for the integrated theatrical play. These performances will be contacted in English but will be based in body language as well which is a universal language. Furthermore conferences and workshops will be organized and leaflets with the partners’ works will be published. The partners will be responsible, each one for its own country,for the dissemination of the results of the project,using the appropriate media.
