The project aims to prepare and disseminate a language module for healthcare staff working with foreign patients. The module will contain a vocabulary list, and a list of special terms, and dialogs in English, German, Russian, Czech, Bulgarian, Latvian and Turkish languages. The material for vocabulary and special terms will be in audio and some sample dialogs between healthcare staff and patients will be in video format. A DVD ROM and a website were prepared as the final output, targeting to reach nurses, doctors, medical and nursing students, medical secretaries, health insurance companies and travel agencies, as well as patients receiving care in a foreign country. The partners of the project are two universities from Turkey and Bulgaria, a private hospital from Turkey and three companies from Czech Republic, Latvia and Germany.
