We are doing this project to bring European volunteers as ambassadors in the projects of Jena. They are acting as representatives of their country and their culture. So they can then return to their home as ambassadors for Germany and Europe.The objectives of the project are to promote European values, intercultural and religious understanding, promoting European citizenship and peaceful coexistence.The seven participants are school graduates, students, graduates, unemployed. They are between 18 and 29 years old. Two of these, are young people with fewer opportunities.All of the activities are European Voluntary Service (only program countries). The sendingorganizations are from Spain, Romania, France and Turkey. The receiving organizations are active in Jena in the field of youth, a sports club, a kindergarten and a community housing for refugees.The participants will be educated personally and professionally. They should go out of the project with an increased awareness of the EU and its values, and other cultures.This is will be achieved through cultural evenings organized together with European volunteers, and a monthly radio program.The participating institutions will benefit from the new ideas of the participants. It can be achieved in the youth field more youth policy, systemic and organization-related effects by European thought and action.The children, adolescents and adults in the projects that are in daily contact to the participants, will be sensitized of other cultures and mentalities. This contributes to greater openness and tolerance. This includes also the employees, supervisors and mentors who are in touch with the volunteer.At local and regional level, we want to make mobility of youth the European Voluntary Service known. Internationally, we are aiming for close partnerships with sending organizations. We want to develop a good, sustainable network that facilitates the cooperation between the partners and the future to initiate joint projects better The long-term benefit of this project is firstly to strengthen European awareness of the participating volunteers and its implementation in its future and publicizing the program Erasmus + among German youth. We as a coordinating organization can give more young people the chance to advice and get send by us in EVS.
