The local artisan products at risk of disappearing: we must consider whether to give new value to the tradition for new professions related to the sustainable use of local resources. The multifunctionality of agriculture can develop new job opportunities especially for rural women and the company has to deal with environmental protection, rural tourism, craft activities. The added value of traditional products is in their intrinsic qualities and sensory and cultural enhancement. The areas of study are the province of Grosseto in Tuscany, the province of Sassari in Sardinia and the Middle Campidano, the provinces of North and South of Corsica. The project aims to develop capacity for innovation, creation and application of processes and products in small and medium-sized enterprises of agriculture, handicrafts (textile-dyeing and herbal) and tourism. The project aims to enhance native species of plants and wool for the production of handicrafts and textiles for the use of green building and promote cultural tourism and territories with the educational-teaching. The targets are micro-enterprises and SMEs agriculture, crafts and tourism organizations that benefit directly and / or indirectly the development of rural areas. The activities will include: characterization of local resources and their intrinsic qualities and sensory integration of analysis with the application of marketing strategies and sensory environment of the territories as a basis for actions that promote the sustainability of each other territories of the three regions of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
