IES San Jose Villanueva de la Serena, based on the European Development Plan which identifies its needs and matches them to the 2020 strategy of the European Union for education, aims to improve the teaching-learning process with the intention of increase academic performance (mainly in instrumental areas), guiding educational action towards key competences, improving teaching practice with a proper use of new technologies, properly managing the educational reality by pedagogical leadership and improving language skills in English.To socialize all this work, it will be set up a working group of teachers interested in participating in educational innovation projects with certain linguistic and social skills that enable them to capitalize on the proposed activities and European mobility. This group is to be composed of ten teachers from a total of seven teaching departments, including management team and staff of the Guidance Department.Among the project activities, those to be funded according to the program are: - Two Job Shadowing activities in a benchmark partner of vocational training in Frechen, Germany. - Two English language courses: A2, B1, B2, in Dublin, Ireland. - A course of innovation in ICT use and methodology in Brussels, Belgium - A course on teaching innovation and project management improvement in Plymouth, UK.The objectives are focused on the acquisition of teaching skills (methodological, communicative, professional ...), the best use of ICT and school internationalization with the aim of creating a European identity and awareness.The expected results deal with a shift in educational practices and technological knowledge that results in better school results oriented to reducing school failure and early school leaving, providing further internationalization opportunities to the students of the school.To do this, the project will be carried out with a methodology of group work where the Commission of Internationalization plays a key role, and where the use of technological resources (such as a web page that allows us to track activities and disseminate results) are key parts. In addition, there will be assessment checks at the end of each activity and the project.The impact of the project is twofold. In participants it will be checked through the improvement of language skills and participation in the development of innovative educational projects related to the Erasmus + program. In the school, the building of a more modern and dynamic environment will facilitate the incorporation of new educational strategies to attract students and academic staff from around the world.
